Sudeley Castle & Gardens

Located 8 miles north east of Cheltenham, Sudeley Castle has 10 notable gardens covering over 15 acres, within a 1200 acre estate in the Cotswold hills. Sudeley Castle has over 1000 years of history, hosting romatic ruins and rich history.

Batsford Arboretum & Garden Centre

Batsford Arboretum is known as one of the best places in the Cotswolds to visit exotic trees, bamboos and shrubs. Spread across 60 acres, you can find Japanese flowering cherries in the Spring to a hue of reds and oranges in the Autumn.

Hidcote Manor Gardens

Hidcote is an 'Arts and Crafts' inspired garden, known for its intricately designed outdoor spaces. Hidcote was created by passionate horticulturist and desginer Major Lawrence Johnston. 

Dyrham Park

Dyrham Park showcases over 270 acres of ancient parkland, listed as a Grade II garden. The park was created in the 17th century and still holds many of the same trees and shrubs to this day. 

Westbury Court Garden

Westbury Court Garden is one of the few surviving Dutch water gardens from the 17th century. Through exploring Westbury, you can find orchards, vegetable plots and many rare trees.

On the outskirts of picturesque Gloucester and surrounded by acres of beautiful grounds, this elegant country house boasts modern rooms, a restaurant serving good food, and a bar. Free high-speed WiFi is available throughout. The bedrooms at the Mercure Gloucester, Bowden Hall are stylish and they all have en suite facilities. A welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits awaits guests, as well as free toiletries. All rooms are accessible by stairs only. Bar and Brassiere by Bowden offers fine English food and wonderful views across the lawns and the lake. Guests can also relax with a drink at the elegant lounge or in the Club Bar.
