Tour Summary

Nestled along the stunning Catalan coast, this journey brings together the natural beauty, culture, history and flavours of the Costa Brava and Barcelona.

From the charming seaside town of Blanes, we’ll explore the spectacular Marimurtra Botanical Garden, with its exotic plants and breathtaking clifftop views. In Girona, we’ll experience the vibrant Temps de Flors Festival, when historic streets, courtyards and monuments are transformed into colourful floral displays.

We’ll continue to the picturesque Calella de Palafrugell, discovering its traditional fishing-village charm and beautiful coastline, before visiting the gardens of Cap Roig and experiencing the authentic flavours of the Empordà wine region at a local winery.

Our journey also takes us to Barcelona, where Gaudí’s extraordinary architecture takes centre stage. We’ll visit the colourful Park Güell, explore the atmospheric Gothic Quarter and admire the iconic Sagrada Família.

Together, these experiences offer a wonderful taste of Catalonia, combining beautiful gardens, historic towns, coastal scenery, local wine, vibrant festivals and unforgettable Gaudí architecture.

Day 01

  • Arrive at Girona Airport.

  • Transfer to your hotel in Pineda de Mar.

  • Settle in and enjoy the resort at your leisure.

Day 02

  • Half-day excursion to Blanes.

  • Take the charming little train up to Marimurtra Botanical Garden.

  • Explore over 4,000 plant species from around the world, including tropical and Mediterranean collections.

  • Enjoy spectacular views over the Costa Brava.

  • Visit a local café for a tasting of Catalan cava and a snack.

  • Return to Pineda de Mar.

Day 03

  • Full-day visit to historic Girona.

  • Experience the famous Temps de Flors flower festival, when streets, courtyards and historic monuments are decorated with spectacular floral displays.

  • Explore the city's historic centre and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, colours andscents of the festival.

  • Return to Pineda de Mar.

  • A free day to relax and enjoy Pineda de Mar and the surrounding area.

  • Your tour guide can suggest optional activities and local attractions.

Day 05

  • Full-day excursion along the Costa Brava.

  • Visit picturesque Calella de Palafrugell, a former fishing village with whitewashedhouses, traditional boats and beautiful coves.

  • Visit the spectacular Cap Roig Garden and Castle.

  • Free time for lunch in Calella.

  • Guided visit to a local Empordà winery, including an opportunity to discover theregion's wine-making traditions.

  • Return to Pineda de Mar.

Day 06

  • Full-day excursion to Barcelona.

  • Enjoy a panoramic tour showcasing some of the city's major sights.

  • Visit Park Güell, one of Gaudí's most famous creations, with impressive views across Barcelona.

  • Free time for lunch in the atmospheric Gothic Quarter.

  • Visit Sagrada Família, Gaudí's iconic and still-unfinished masterpiece.

  • Return to Pineda de Mar.

  • Relax and enjoy a free day at your resort.
