Nestled in the heart of Catalonia, Girona is a province where history, culture, and nature blend effortlessly in unforgettable harmony.

Known for its well-preserved medieval old town, colourful houses along the Onyar River, and impressive Roman walls, the city of Girona offers a perfect blend of ancient charm and modern vibrancy.

During this tour, we will experience the Temps de Flors Festival, when the city comes alive with stunning floral displays that transform its streets, monuments, and historic sites into works of art. Beyond Girona, we will discover one of the most beautiful medieval towns on the Costa Brava - Peratallada, filled with cobbled lanes, stone houses, and timeless charm. We’ll also visit the fishing port of Roses, a lively coastal town with a strong maritime heritage, and the whitewashed village of Cadaqués, famous for its artistic atmosphere and close connection to Salvador Dalí.

Together, these highlights promise a journey that blends history, culture, nature, and art  - a true taste of the Costa Brava and its treasures.

Day 01

Board your flight to sunny Girona, and transfer to your hotel. Relax and enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Day 02

After breakfast, your adventure begins as you arrive in Blanes, where you'll board the "little train" for a scenic journey. This charming ride offers picturesque views as we ascend the hill, making our way to the renowned Marimurtra Botanical Garden. Here, you'll be captivated by a diverse collection of over 4,000 plant species meticulously cultivated from around the globe. Spend your time wandering through thematic sections, from exotic tropical landscapes to Mediterranean flora, all while enjoying breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Costa Brava coastline. To complete your authentic local experience, you'll visit a modest yet charming cafeteria. Here, you'll have the opportunity to taste the exquisite local cava, a sparkling wine that embodies the region's festive spirit, perfectly paired with a delicious snack. This is a chance to relax, reflect on the day's discoveries, and soak in the laid-back atmosphere of this beautiful town before you make our return journey to Tossa. Relax for the rest of the day and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 03

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day experience in Girona, where you'll discover the city's unique charm, vibrant traditions, and rich history. Your visit includes:Temps de Flors Flower Festival: Explore the stunning floral displays that transform Girona's streets, patios, and monuments into an extraordinary open-air garden. Witness intricate artistic arrangements, a riot of colors, and the enchanting fragrance of thousands of flowers that adorn every corner of the city. This annual festival is a true feast for the senses, offering countless photo opportunities and a chance to experience Girona at its most beautiful. After visitng the festival return to your hotel for time at leisure before dinner at the hotel.

Day 04

After breakfast, you'll spend a leisurely day discovering the hidden corners of Tossa de Mar, the place where Ava Gardner filmed "Pandora and the Flying Dutchman." You could visit the Municipal Museum, which houses works by artists such as Marc Chagall, André Masson, and Georges Kars. The day is entirely tour choice. Dinner is served at your hotel.

Day 05

After breakfast, embark on a full day excursion to Peratallada and Calella de Palafrugell. This full-day excursion offers a delightful escape to the charming coastal village of Calella de Palafrugell, nestled on the Costa Brava. Immerse yourself in the picturesque beauty of this former fishing village, known for its whitewashed houses, traditional boats, and serene coves. Enjoy an included visit to the magnificent Cap Roig Garden and Castle. The highlight of the afternoon will be a guided visit to a distinguished local winery, nestled within the picturesque Empordà wine region providing a memorable experience of the authentic Catalan spirit. To finish the visit, you will enjoy a stop for coffee in Peratallada which is a medieval gem located in the heart of Baix Empordà, in the province of Girona. Its name, which means "carved stone," reflects its origin and construction on sandstone rock. Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 06

After breakfast, enjoy a full day to Roses and Cadaques to enjoy the jewels of the Emporda area. This journey promises an immersive experience into the heart of Catalonia's rich history, stunning natural beauty, and vibrant artistic heritage. Begin your exploration in Roses, a town steeped in history and offering a harmonious blend of ancient ruins and modern charm. Discover the impressive Ciutadella de Roses, a vast archaeological site encompassing the remains of a Greek settlement, Roman villa, medieval monastery, and Renaissance fortress. Continue your adventure to the iconic village of Cadaqués,This charming white-washed village, with its narrow cobbled streets, colorful fi shing boats, and azure waters, has long been a haven for artists and intellectuals. The undeniable allure of Cadaqués lies in its intrinsic connection to Salvador Dalí. Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 07

After breakfast, you can enjoy a full day at leisure. Perhaps you wouldmlike to enjoy the facilities at your hotel, or take a self-guided visit to Barcelona. The day is entirely yours to relax and enjoy. Your final dinner will be served at the hotel.

Day 08

After a colourful week, your transfer will take you back to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
