The patios of Cordoba are fully in bloom for the first two weeks of May, a tradition dating back to the Roman era. Admire the colours, scents and sounds of the courtyards in peaceful tranquility before travelling to Granada to visit the Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens for an official guided tour.

Itinerary/Excursions

Day 01

Our tour manager will welcome you at Malaga airport and you make our way to Córdoba. Welcome dinner at the hotel in Córdoba.

Day 02

Morning official guided tour of Córdoba to include the world famous Mezquita as well as the Jewish Quarter and historic centre. The afternoon is free to enjoy Córdoba’s Patios Festival. Hotel in Córdoba.

Day 03

Full day walking tour including the admission of the beautiful Royal Alcazar of Christians Kings wich was a former royal residence of the city of Córdoba, located on one of the banks of the Guadalquivir River. In the afternoon, you have more time to explore another part of the beauty of the Patios flower festival. Hotel in Cordoba.

Day 04

You say Hasta la vista to Córdoba as you make your way east to the city of Granada. But we have prepared a nice itinerary on the way: you will be stopping at the pretty white village of Priego, including a guided tour. Also, a pillar of the economy in this part of the world is olive oil and you’ll be stopping at an “almazara” (olive oil press) to learn about the process as well as getting a taste. Day 05

In the morning, you take a tour on foot in the old quarter of Granada, with its intricate streets and hidden squares. A must here is the visit of the Royal Chapel, where the Catholic Monarchs are laid to rest. There is free time for lunch in any of the bars in the centre of town before you make your way by bus up to the Alhambra Palace, the last stronghold of the Moors on the Iberian Peninsula. Its setting is spectacular, its history fascinating and we also include the summer palace and gardens of El Generalife. Once finished, you return walking to the centre of Granada. Hotel in Granada.

Day 06

Embark on a sensory journey today, beginning with a wine tasting experience featuring varietals from the Sierra Nevada region, near Granada. Discover the intricacies of olive oil production, the "Andalusian gold," with a visit to a local mill. Culminate this experience with a tapas lunch in a unique setting amidst olive groves. The afternoon offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in the passionate artistry of an authentic flamenco show. Overnight in Granada.

Day 07

After an exciting week, you take your transfer back to Málaga Airport for your flight back to the UK. Hasta pronto!
