Itinerary/Excursions

Day 01- Fine Arts Museum and Gualdalquivir River Boat Trip

Depart the UK on your flight to Seville. Once you've arrived at the airport, transfer to your hotel in Seville, your base for the next 3 nights. Enjoy exploring the Fine Arts Museum, an introductory walk with your tour manager and a boat trip along the Guadalquivir River before dinner at the hotel.

Day 02- Seville Guided Tour and Plaza de España

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before a full day excursion in Seville: “The most Spanish of Spanish cities”. Your guided tour in Seville will include a walking tour through the Jewish Quarter and entries to the spectacular Real Alcazar. This opulent royal palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcases a mesmerizing blend of Mudéjar, Gothic, Renaissance and Romantic architectural styles. After some free time, you will continue your journey to the magnificent Plaza de España. This grand semi-circular edifice, one of the most stunning squares in all of Andalusia, was originally constructed for the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929. Enjoy free time in the evening to immerse yourself in Seville’s vibrant ambiance.

Day 03- Jerez de la Frontera, Sherry Wine Bodega and Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art

After breakfast. embark on a captivating full-day excursion to Jerez de la Frontera, a city synonymous with the rich traditions of Andalusia. Your journey begins with an immersive visit to a renowned sherry wine bodega. Here, you'll delve into the fascinating history and intricate production process of sherry, a fortified wine that serves as the very "business card" to this city of wine. Following your sherry exploration, you'll be treated to a breathtaking horse show at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. This world-renowned institution is one of the largest and most prestigious equestrian schools in Europe, dedicated to preserving and promoting the art of classical horsemanship. In the afternoon, return to Seville to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 04- Córdoba, Mezquita and Granada

After breakfast, say goodbye to Seville as you travel to Granada, but first make a stop in Córdoba, city of the Caliphs. Your local guide will tell you all about Córdoba, with a special emphasis on the unique Mosque-come-Cathedral. Apart from this, the historic centre is a delight with narrow whitewashed lanes and hidden squares. After free time for lunch, continue to Granada where you will stay for the next 3 nights. Enjoy dinner at the hotel before a leisurely evening.

Day 05- Granada Walking Tour and Alhambra Palace

After breakfast, your tour manager will lead a historical walking tour of the city centre. Following free time for lunch, continue to the Alhambra Palace to explore its interior and gardens, a site that served as the final Moorish stronghold on the Iberian Peninsula. In the afternoon, the tour manager will offer an optional excursion to a flamenco show in one of Granada's caves (more information below). Enjoy dinner at leisure.

Day 06- Sierra Nevada and Olive Oil Mill and Winery

After breakfast, discover the Sierra Nevada's charm on an unforgettable excursion. Explore picturesque whitewashed villages and marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views. Visit a local olive oil mill and a winery nestled in the mountains for a tasting experience. Enjoy authentic local tapas while taking in the stunning scenery before returning to Granada in the afternoon. Your final evening will be at leisure.

Day 07- Depart

After breakfast, take your transfer to Malaga Airport for your flight back to the UK. Hasta pronto Andalusia!
