Spain's Golden Age, An Explosion of Art
Experience the lively atmosphere of Madrid’s summer, stroll through the historic streets where the echoes of Spain’s Golden Age still resonate, and savor the city’s world-renowned cuisine. Highlights include a visit to the majestic Royal Palace, a tour of the famed Prado Museum, and an evening soaking in the passionate rhythms of a traditional flamenco performance.

Day 01
Arrive at Madrid airport and transfer to the charming town of Alcala de Henares, where we’ll be staying for the next four nights. After checking into your hotel, join your tour manager for an introductory walk around Alcala’s historic center. Enjoy a welcoming dinner at the hotel.

Day 02
Embark on a full-day excursion to Madrid. Begin with a guided walking tour, visiting highlights such as Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Plaza Santa Ana, Teatro Real, and the Royal Palace, including entries and earpieces. After some free time for lunch and independent exploration, return to Alcala de Henares in the afternoon.

Day 03
Discover the grandeur of El Escorial Palace with an official guided tour. After a lunch break, continue to Segovia to marvel at the famous Roman Aqueduct and take a walking tour of the historic center, ending at the imposing Alcazar fortress.

Day 04
Enjoy a half-day panoramic tour of Madrid, featuring Paseo de la Castellana, Atocha Station, Plaza de Colón, and Las Ventas Bullring. After free time for lunch, visit the renowned El Prado Museum (tickets included). Return to Alcala de Henares independently by train later in the afternoon.

Day 05
Bid farewell to Alcala de Henares as we head towards Toledo. En route, stop in the medieval city of Avila, famous for its impressive Roman walls. Enjoy a guided walking tour and free time to sample local culinary delights before continuing to Toledo, where you’ll stay for the next three nights.

Day 06
Take an official guided walking tour of Toledo, the "City of the Three Faiths," where Christianity, Judaism, and Islam coexisted in medieval times. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, exploring Toledo’s rich history and stunning architecture.

Day 07
Experience a full-day excursion to Aranjuez and Chinchón. Visit the Royal Palace at Aranjuez, renowned for its beautiful gardens along the River Tagus. Continue to Chinchón, a quaint village with a famous medieval square, where you’ll have free time for lunch. Conclude your day with a farewell dinner at a local restaurant in Toledo.
