Begin your tour at the Beaux Arts Museum in Rouen, renowned for its impressive collection of impressionist art. Then discover Étretat to witness the breathtaking cliffs that served as inspiration for Monet's renowned seascapes. In Paris, discover the largest collection of Monet’s works at the Marmottan Museum, and marvel at his celebrated Water Lilies series at the Orangerie Museum. Additionally, visit the Île des Impressionists, a site that inspired not only Monet but also Renoir and Degas.

Itinerary/Excursions

Day 01

Arrival at the train station Paris Gare du Nord. Meet your driver and transfer to Rouen.You'll then have unch on your own, before enjoying a guided visit of the Beaux-Arts Museum, admiring the impressionist masterpieces, the largest collection after Paris.Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 02

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. This morning, enjoy a guided walking tour through Rouen that has attracted many artists. Claude Monet transformed for example the cathedral into anartistic icon. Have lunch on your own, before driving to Étretat. Meet your guide and discover the famous cliffs that inspired many of Monet’s seascapes. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 03

Have breakfast at hotel and check-out. Drive to Giverny and enjoy a full day in this Norman village, a place of inspiration for Claude Monet.With your guide, see where he lived and painted and discover the stunning gardens that inspired him. In the afternoon, discover with your guide the Museum of Impressionism, which has one of the most beautiful collections of Impressionist works. To celebrate the centenary of Claude Monet's death, the museum will be presenting an exhibition entitled ‘Claude Monet from 1883 to 1890 in Giverny’. It will feature works from this period, when the painter rented the famous house but did not yet own it. Travel to Paris and enjoy dinner at a local Parisian restaurant.

Day 04

Have breakfast at hotel. This morning, enjoy a guided visit of Marmottan Museum which holds the world's largest collection of Monet's works, including Impression, Sunrise. In the afternoon, explore with your guide Chatou Island, known as the “Island of the Impressionists” that inspired Monet, Renoir, Pissaro… and visit Fournaise Museum. Enjoy your final dinner in Paris, in a local restaurant.

Day 05

Breakfast at hotel and check-out. As a farewell, end your trip with a guided visit to Orangerie Museum. Admire the series of eight Water Lilies painted by Claude Monet. Transfer to the train station Paris Gare du Nord.
