Tour Summary

Verona is famous around the world as the setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, but it has so much more to offer, from ancient Roman monuments and lively piazzas to charming streets filled with history, culture, and delicious food.

On the tour of Verona, we’ll discover the city’s highlights — the magnificent Piazza Bra, home to the Arena di Verona, the famous House of Giulietta, and the historic Roman Theatre. We’ll also enjoy an excursion to the beautiful lakeside town of Peschiera del Garda, with its charming setting on Lake Garda.

And to make the experience truly unforgettable, we’ll finish with an evening at the Arena di Verona, watching Verdi’s La Traviata performed under the stars in this spectacular ancient amphitheatre.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01

Depart from the UK and arrive into Verona Airport. Check in to your hotel and have time at leisure before enjoying an evening meal with your group and Airedale Representative.

Day 02

After breakfast, enjoy a short walking tour in Verona city centre. On your walking tour, you will visit Piazza Bra, Via Mazzini, Piazza Erbe and Piazza Dante. You will also visit Juliet's House, where entrance is included. After the walking tour, have free time to get ready and enjoy dinner at leisure, before watching the incredible La Traviata.

Day 03

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before joining your 2nd guided walking tour, taking you to incredible sights including Sottoriva, Stone Bridge, Panoramic Terrace (via cable car), Castel San Pietro and Roman Theatre. Enjoy a traditional spritz in the town centre and explore the Roman Theatre at your own leisure. The rest of the day are your own arrangements.

Day 04

After breakfast, travel to Peschiera del Gardi via high speed train, to join a wonderful tour through the magical town. Enjoy a boat ride around the UNESCO Venetian Walls & after this, you will have free time to explore. Return to Verona for a relaxing evening, with dinner at your own leisure.

Day 05

Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before departing to the airport, for your return flight to the UK.
