Tour Itinerary

Day 01

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Naples. On arrival you will be transferred to your choice of 3, 4* hotels.

Day 02 - The Island of Capri

After breakfast we depart by boat from Sorrento to the island of Capri. Upon arrival we walk from the famous Piazetta to the Gardens of Agustus with fantastic views to Faraglioni Rocks below. In the afternoon, explore the island or perhaps take an optional trip to more laidback Anacapri, the highest point on the island.

Day 03 - Pompeii and Vesuvius

We visit the remarkably preserved city of Pompeii where, temples, streets, baths and the amphitheater, were buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. and gain an insight into the ancient Roman way of life. We continue to the volcano of Vesuvius by shuttle bus with the opportunity to walk up to the crater (entrance charge). We then taste wine at a vineyard on the slopes.

Day 04 - Paestum and visit to a Buffalo Farm

A visit to the town of Paestum, the town of Ancient Greek Temples. The three huge temples are amongst the most beautiful and best-preserved Doric temples in Europe. This is followed by a tour of a buffalo farm to enjoy the original buffalo mozzarella of the region of Campania which is still produced by hand.

Day 05 - Naples and pizza making class

See the main sights of this lively city at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius with a local guide. We then learn the art of pizza-making, a Neapolitan specialty at a pizza making class. Free time to explore Naples.

Day 06 - The Amalfi Coast

Enjoy a drive along one of the most beautiful coast roads in the world. Explore Amalfi itself and discover its main attractions including the Cathedral. Stop and taste Limoncello the lemon liqueur made by using the intense aroma of locally grown lemon rind.

Day 07

A day at leisure to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Day 08

After a wonderful week we transfer to the airport for your flight home.
