Discover some of Italy’s most beautiful small villages, including Castell’Arquato and Dozza, to Parma and Rimini, combining cultural highlights with wine, cheese, ham, balsamic vinegar and olive oil tastings.

Tour Itinerary

Parma

A guided city tour including the Complesso La Pilotta and Teatro Farnese. On to Langhirano for a Parma ham tasting and a visit to Torrechiara Castle.

Modena

A tour of Modena city, the Alvinelli Market, Villa San Donnino for Lambrusco and balsamic vinegar tasting, and Azienda Agricola Moscattini for a Parmigiano Reggiano dairy visit and tasting.

Castell’Arquato

Visit to Castell’Arquato with tasting of the village’s biscuits. Move on to Vigoleno for lunch in a mountain trattoria, followed by Vigoleno Castle and the smallest theatre in Europe.

Bologna

A wonderful tour of the city of Bologna and the bustling Antico Mercato del Quadrilatero, including a tasting of typical local products. Continue to Dozza, famous for its painted walls and Rocca di Dozza.

Rimini

A guided tour of Rimini, followed by Santarcangelo di Romagna. A piadina cooking class at Collina dei Poeti, a humble recipe with ancient origins, including tasting with cold cuts, cheese, dessert, and four wine tastings.

San Marino

Enjoy a guided tour of San Marino, followed by visiting the ancient village of San Leo. Finish with a visit to the Paganelli olive mill with olive oil tasting.
