Bournemouth Beach and Pier
Bournemouth Beach stretches for miles from the Pier past Boscombe to Poole, with easy access via cliffside paths and Victorian lifts. Thanks to its micro-climate and warm sea temperatures, it’s ideal for family fun and seaside relaxation. At the heart of ten miles of golden sand, Bournemouth Pier offers stunning coastal views and a range of attractions, entertainment, and shops.
Lulworth Cove
Lulworth Cove, shaped by the sea and glacial meltwater at the end of the last Ice Age, is world-famous for its unique geology, including the Lulworth Crumple and Stair Hole, said to have inspired Enid Blyton’s The Rubadub Mystery. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast, it’s a stunning spot for walking, watersports, rock-pooling, or simply relaxing by the clear waters.
Durdle Door
Durdle Door, a striking natural limestone arch on the Jurassic Coast, is one of Dorset’s most iconic and photographed landmarks. Formed by sea erosion and named from the Old English ‘thirl’ - meaning to pierce - it sits on the Lulworth Estate in South Dorset. Part of England’s first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s accessed via a footpath and steps from Lulworth Cove. Nearby caves at the base of the cliffs are beautiful but unsafe to enter due to frequent rockfalls.

Upside Down House is the UK's first inverted experience. Walk on the ceiling, reach for the coffee table and take unbelievable photos. A great day out for the family to get as creative as possible, whether you are into photography or not, you will be able to take unique photos with poses you cannot capture elsewhere
Russell-Cotes Museum and Art Gallery
The Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum, housed in the Grade II* listed East Cliff Hall in Bournemouth, was originally built in 1901 by Merton Russell-Cotes as a birthday gift for his wife, Annie. Perched on the East Cliff next to the Royal Bath Hotel, the house features striking Art Nouveau architecture and interiors. In 1907, the couple gifted the property and its contents to the town, including Merton’s extensive art collection. The museum officially opened in 1922 and has since been expanded, including a modern annexe opened in 2000. The collection showcases artworks, decorative objects, and items from their world travels—particularly Japan. One room is dedicated to actor Sir Henry Irving, a family friend, featuring memorabilia from his life.
