Tour Summary
Donna Nook is one of Lincolnshire’s best-kept secrets. Every November and December, grey seals come to the Donna Nook coastline to give birth to their pups near the sand dunes; a wildlife spectacle that attracts visitors from across the UK.
Price is per person sharing a double or twin room and is based on 30 passengers.
Doddington Hall
The filming location of Pride and Prejudice, Doddington Hall is a fine example of a late Elizabethan mansion. Built between 1595 and 1600 by Robert Smythson, the hall has never been sold or cleared out since. Much alive with history and interest, a guided tour of the hall will reflect the challenges of looking after such an estate in the 21st century and an insight into family life through the ages.
Lincoln Castle
Visit Lincoln Castle to experience the Medeival Wall Walk, Victorian Prison and view the Magna Carta travelling back 1000 years of history. A seat of power and place of punishment, follow in the footsteps of prisoners in the Victorian Prison Experience, and walk the battlements of the castle's mighty curtain wall with spectacular views over Lincoln.

Donna Nook
Grey seals return to Donna Nook every November to December to give birth to their pups near the sand dunes. View one of the largest grey seal colonies in the UK, over 2,000 seal pups are born each year on these extensive dunes and shore between North Somercotes and Saltfleet. The reserve changes landscape every year as the coastal processes alter the natural features and trapped areas of saltmarsh encourage new species of plant to grow.
