Itinerary/Excursions

Pitlochry, Queens View & Loch Tay
We head northwards to the gateway to the Highlands, Pitlochry, a charming town on the River Tummel. A short drive away is Queens View, reputedly Queen Victoria's favourite spot en route to Balmoral, where a clear day affords spectacular views across Loch Tummel and Loch Rannoch into the Highlands. Our journey back to the hotel takes in Loch Tay, one of Scotland's most beautiful lochs.

St Andrews & the Fife Coast
Spend a day exploring the exhilarating Fife coastline, from small and charming fishing villages such as Crail to grand and handsome St Andrews, a mecca for golfers but also seat of Scotland's oldest university, home to the medieval ruins of St Andrews Cathedral and castle.
