Lincoln Cathedral & Castle

Lincoln Cathedral is one of the most spectacular Gothic buildings that held the record for the world's tallest building for over two centuries. Enjoy exploring the magnificent exterior and interiors, colourful stained glass windows and discovering the famous Lincoln Imp. Lincoln Castle is a major Norman castle constructed in Lincoln, England, during the late 11th century on the site of a pre-existing Roman fortress. The castle is unusual in that it has two mottes. Both were commissioned by William the Conqueror.

International Bomber Command Centre

The International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC) is a world-class facility to serve as a point for recognition, remembrance and reconciliation for Bomber Command. 

Museum of Lincolnshire Life

Celebrating the culture of Lincolnshire from 1750 to the present day, exhibiting ilustrate commercial, domestic, agricultural, industrial and community life. It is housed in a Victorian barracks built for the Royal North Lincoln Militia in 1857, with nearly 250,000 objects including an authentic World War One tank.

The Usher Art Gallery

The Usher Gallery is the only purpose built public art gallery in Lincoln and holds a diverse collection of fine and decorative arts and horology. The oils and acrylics range from the 16th century to the present day, and include works by Benjamin West, George Stubbs, Sir Terry Frost and Craigie Aitchison.

Opposite Lincoln University and within 20 minutes walk of the Medieval Bishop's Palace. The hotel offers wonderful views over Lincoln Cathedral, and was used to shoot atmospheric scenes for the famous Da Vinci Code movie. Guests can dine with floor to ceiling views of the marina in the spacious restaurant, or enjoy the Brayford Bar & Restaurant contemporary menu. The hotel has a lift.
