Itinerary/Excursions

House of Dun

House of Dun is the perfect 18th-century laird's home with stunning vistas overlooking the Montrose Basin and set in glorious gardens and woodland. Built in 1743 to replace the medeival tower house that had been home to the Erskine family since 1375, the house is filled with treasures and stories. Stroll through the picturesque formal gardens, and maybe catch sight of a red squirrel as you do!

Glamis Castle & Gardens

For 650 years, the castle at Glamis has inspired playwrights, and welcomed royalty. Once host to Mary Queen of Scots, Glamis is said to have inspired Shakespeare's Macbeth. The sublime gardens are a sensory experience throughout the seasons, with the stories, sights and scents that welcome visitors.

Dunkeld & Perth

With pretty and brightly coloured houses, built in the 1700s, Dunkeld is one of the best preserved historic towns in Scotland. It's historic cathedral is a remarkably well-preserved example of late 17th century and early 18th century Scottish burghs.  Many, many years ago, Perth was the capital of Scotland and a picturesque playground for royalty. Today, the city is abundant with beautiful architecture, captivating royal history, and picturesque surrounding landscapes

Scone Palace & Gardens

Macbeth, Robert the Bruce and Charles II were crowned here, at the ancient crowning place on the stone of Scone. Breathing history, and surrounded by beautiful gardens and peacfeul woodland, here you can wander in the steps of Kings and Queens whilst being surrounded by wonderful works of art.

Dundee

Scotland's sunniest city, a dynamic and compact space that is becoming a wondern wonder. Innovative, with culture, museums, ships, and a vast array of bars and architecture, Dundee is a popular coastal location.
