Pitlochry is one of Scotland's most beautiful and vibrant places to visit. In the heart of Scotland, with beautiful scenery, rich clan history, lochs, and viewpoints to be enjoyed.

Itinerary/Excursions

Day 01

Meet at your local pick-up point and travel to Pitlochry.

Day 02

Visit Cairngorms National Park, and discover the UK's largest national park. Separated by a great bulk of mountains, each area of the park has it's own distinct identity., whilst sharing a deep connection to the same environments. After your visit to Cairngorms, enjoy a ride on the Strathspey Heritage Railway. After your journey on a beautiful steam train, Blair Castle & Gardens will present to you a backdrop of fine 18th century interiors, and Scots Baronial architecture in 30 rooms, as you take a guided tour of the Castle. The gardens at Blair Castle feature a nine-acre walled garden, a wooded grove, gothic folly, a kirk ruin, and extensive deer park. 

Day 03

Many, many years ago, Perth was the capital of Scotland and a picturesque playground for royalty. Today, the city is abundant with beautiful architecture, captivating royal history, and picturesque surrounding landscapes.  The Scottish poet, Robert Burns, made Aberfeldy famous and it is a Scottish dream. Aberfeldy was Scotland's first Fairtrade town, and today the local retailers prvide organic, environmentally friendly and Fairtrade products.

Day 04

Lying at the heart of Highland Perthshire, Queen's Views is one of the most spectacular sights you can find - so spectacular that Queen Isabella, the viewpoint's namesake, would make this her resting spot on journeys. On a clear day you can see as far as the Glencoe Mountains on the west coast.  Once you have marvelled at the natural beauty of Scotland (and hopefully had your camera at the ready), visit Blair Athol Distillery. Standing at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, Blair Athol's ancient source of water flows through grounds and slopes, contributing to the whisky's smooth finish. Here you will enjoy a tour and tasting, for you to embark on the history of Blair Athol's mellow whisky.

Day 05

After breakfast, check out of your hotel to depart home.
