Itinerary/Excursions

Denbies Winery

Join the Vineyard Train Tour, which will take you at a leisurely pace and to some of the most beautiful viewpoints of the vineyard. A recorded commentary will enhance your trip, which throughout the seasons, will capture the changing scenery of the Denbies Estate and the North Downs. Afterward, enjoy a wine tasting in the cellar, with a sharing platter or canapes included.

Kingscote Vineyard

Enjoy a tour and tasting at Kingscote Estate. As well as enjoying a selection of divine wines, you will see stunning views, streams, vintage railways, diverse wildlife, and fishing lakes. Don't forget your wellies if it rains!

Chapel Down Winery

A guided tour of the vineyards at Chapel Down Winery will teach you about the vineyard cycle, the English grape harvest, and the intricate process of Traditional Method sparkling wine. After the tour, follow with a tutored wine tasting of six award-winning still and sparkling wines.

Penshurst Place & Gardens

Discover the tranquility and beauty of Penshurt, once the property of King Henry VIII. Described as 'the grandest and most perfectly preserved example of a fortified manor house in all England', the Sidney family home of Penshurst Place has been the place for poetic inspiration and lavish Royal hospitality for over 650 years. This excursion is suggested.

Hever Castle

The childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Hever Castle & Gardens was the seat of the Boleyn family from 1462 to 1539. Hever later passed ownership to Henry VIIIs later wife, Anne of Cleves. William Waldorf Astor saved the castle from falling into decline by investing time, money and imagination into restoring the castle, with the 'Tudor Village' and magnificent gardens and lake being commissioned to transform the castle into a home that envisions wealth, history and passion.
