Jane Austen's House

Jane Austen's House is the most treasured site dedicated to Jane Austen in the world. This is where she resided for many years and wrote and revised her 6 beloved novels, including Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. The house is now a museum which showcases many of Austen's treasures.

Chawton House

Enjoy a guided tour of Chawton House,  an Elizabethan manor, its beautiful gardens and grounds, which once belonged to Jane Austen's brother, Edward Austen Knight.

Mompesson House NT

Mompesson House appeared in the 1995 Oscar-winning film Sense and Sensibility, where the house was the London home of Mrs Jennings. This 18th-century town house is located in the heart of Salisbury's historic Cathedral Close. The beautiful house is now owned by the National Trust.

Salisbury Cathedral

Home to Britain's tallest spire and one of the original Magna Carta, Salisbury Cathedral is a must-see. Jane Austen referenced Salisbury Cathedral in many of her works, including Northanger Abbey. At the cathedral, you will join a group tour to learn more about the history & heritage of the cathedral.

Winchester Cathedral

Jane Austen was laid to rest here at Winchester Cathedral. It is one of the largest Gothic Cathedrals in Northern Europe, measuring 560 feet long. Admire its impressive architecture and history.
