Cruise through Norway’s magnificent fjords, travel on the world-renowned Flåm Railway and explore the beauty of Bergen.

Also known as the ‘Gateway to the Fjords’, Bergen is a World Heritage City framed by seven striking mountains and several iconic fjords. On our 5-day tour, you’ll cruise through Norway’s deepest fjord, travel on one of Europe’s most beautiful train rides and take the Fløibanen Funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for panoramic views over Bergen. Itinerary/Excursions

Day 01

Depart the UK and arrive into the mountain landscape city of Bergen. Board your transfer and travel to your hotel, where you will spend the next 4 nights. Enjoy a welcome dinner with your Airedale Representative and group before relaxing for the evening.

Day 02

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before boarding the Fløibanen Funicular, whch will take you up to the top of Mount Fløyen. Today, you will also visit the Troldhaugen (Edvard Greig Museum) and Bergen Botanic Gardens. Have free time at leisure for your lunch and evening meals.

Day 03

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before boarding your 5 hour scenic cruise from Bergen to Flåm. You will cruise through the incredible Sognefjord, one of Norway's deepest and longest fjords. Enjoy the dramatic views and relax before arriving into Flåm. Enjoy a range of warm and cold dishes, alongside coffee/tea and dessert before boarding your train from Flåm to Myrdal. This is known as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world, travelling through the high mountains and past Aurlandsfjord. Travel back to Bergen and enjoy a late dinner at your hotel.

Day 04

Today you will enjoy breakfast before a full day at leisure. We have included the Bergen Card, so you can enjoy a selection of complimentary or discounted attractions in and around Bergen. For the tour finale, enjoy a 3-course dinner at a local Bryggen.

Day 05

Say goodbye to Bergen as you return to Bergen Airport for your return flight to the UK.
