Andalucia is extrodinarily rich in beauty with its whitewashed hill towns, or pueblos blancos, picturesque scenery, wildlife, history, incredible architecture, and a fusion of Moorish and Spanish culture and cuisine.

Itinerary/Excursions

Day 01

Fly from your chosen airport, and arrive at Malaga Airport before transferring to Ronda. An official guided tour of this picturesque mountaintop city will include the oldest bullring in Spain before a little free time. You will then continue to Seville, your base for the next four nights before enjoying dinner at the hotel.

Day 02

This morning, meet your local guide for an official guided tour of of the historic quarter of Seville, to include the Jewish Quarter and entries to the Royal Palace (Real Alcazar) with its combination of Moorish and Christian architecture and pleasant gardens. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring this vibrant city before enjoying a tapas dinner at a local restaurant in Seville.

Day 03

An excursion to the pretty town of Jerez de la Frontera will show you the two things the town is most famous for: wine and horses. Before lunch, enjoy one of the finest horse shows in the world, where Arabian horses dance to flamenco music. After some free time for lunch, take a trip to a traditional sherry wine bodega, the product that brought prosperity to the area. A tasting will certainly show you how it brought such prosperity. After a wonderful day, return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 04

An off the beaten track stroll through the streets of Seville will end at the Fine Art Museum, located in a charming 18th centruy convent. An excursion to the Metropol Parasol will show you how the large six timber shades protects the Plaza de la Encarnación, an archaeological site. Spend the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 05

Today you will make your way by coach to Córdoba, the city of the Caliphs. Your local guide will provide lots of information, with a special emphasis on the unique Mosque-come-Cathedral. The historic centre is a delight with narrow whitewashed lanes and hidden squares. After some free time for lunch, continue to Granada to check in to the hotel and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 06

This morning, take an orientation walk in the historic centre of Granada where Morrish and Christian features are combined and several small bars boast a tapa when ordering a drink. The afternoon is one of the highlights of the tour, the Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens where you will be blown away by a private official guided tour. One of the last strongholds of the Moors on the Iberian Peninsula, this is one of the grandest buildings you can visit in Europe.

Day 07

Today journey up to the Sierra Nevada to visit Pueblos Blancos, enjoy breathtaking views, and visit a ham curing bodega, as well as taste local tapas and wine. Make your way back to Granada, to get ready for a farewell dinner at a local Andalucian restaurant. 

Day 08

After checking out of the hotel, transfer back to the airport for the flight back to the UK.
