Experience the best of Austria on this 6-day journey, combining Vienna’s imperial palaces, the musical heritage of Salzburg, Innsbruck’s rich history, and the breathtaking scenery of the Tyrol, offering a perfect blend of culture, history, and natural beauty.
City Tour on Arrival
On arrival, explore with a city tour of Vienna covering the famous Ringstrasse with landmarks such as the State Opera, Parliament, City Hall and Burgtheater. The tour continues past the Hofburg Palace and includes views of the Danube area. Dinner at the hotel.
Vienna Old Town
After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour through Vienna's historic old town, including a visit to St. Stephen's Cathedral, the city's iconic Gothic landmark. Experience a traditional Viennese coffee house, sampling freshly brewed coffee with a liqueur and a slice of the famous Sachertorte. In the evening, head to a typical Viennese Heuriger for delicacies and a glass of Austrian Wine.
Spanish Riding School & Schönbrunn Palace
Attend a Spanish Riding School performance with reserved seats, experiencing the world-famous Lipizzaner horses in a traditional riding display. Continue to Schönbrunn Palace, the former imperial residence, for a guided tour, with time to enjoy the palace gardens.
Kunsthistorisches Museum & Horburg Palace
Enjoy a guided visit to the Kunsthistorisches Museum, home to one of the world's most important art collections, including works by Brugel, Raphael, and Rubens. A guided tour of Hofburg Palace. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Innsbruck, Swarovski & Rattenberg
Guided city tour of Innsbruck including the Old Town, the famous Golden Roof, and its unique blend of imperial history and alpine scenery. Continue to the dazzling Swarovski Crystal World in Wattens. After lunch, visit the medieval town of Rattenberg, renowned for its traditional glassmaking and narrow streets. Enjoy a glass-blowing demonstration in the smallest town in Austria.
