Witness the vibrant, biennial Flower Carpet in Brussels, explore the capital’s highlights and enjoy walking tours in the Medieval cities of Ghent and Bruges.

Our 5-day guided tour will take you on a cultural journey, starting in the multicultural capital of Brussels. Visit many key attractions within and surrounding the city, before arriving at the breathtaking Flower Carpet. Enjoy dedicated free time here, so you can truly appreciate the beauty of the display. Following from this, visit one of the world’s largest botanical gardens, located in the grounds of Bouchout Castle & enjoy captivating walking tours of Ghent and Bruges with a local guide.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01

Board the eurostar from St Pancras to arrive into Brussels early afternoon. Your local guide will welcome you before beginning a coach sightseeing tour of the outskirts highlights of Brussels. These include Atomium, Royal Palace of Laeken, European District, Japanese Tower, Chinese Pavillion and Park Conquantenaire. You will then check into your hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner with your guide and fellow travellers.

Day 02

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a historical walking tour through Brussels. Your guide will take you through the Grote Markt, Gothic City Hall and Hubertus Galleries. In the afternoon, you will have time to visit the Flower Carpet at your own leisure.

Day 03

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out your hotel and travelling to Meise Botanic Gardens. Join a local guide who will take you through the gardens & tell you about the notable species of flora and fauna. You'll then travel to Ghent, where you have a historical walking tour through the heart of the city. Finally, check into your hotel in Bruges for an evening at leisure.

Day 04

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before a guided walking tour of the heart of Bruges. Start your walking tour on the Square 't Zand at the concert hall before venturing through Bruges' cobbled lanes. On your final full day, you'll have free time to explore Bruges before an evening meal at a local restaurant with your fellow travellers.

Day 05

Enjoy your final breakfast in Belgium before transferring back to Brussels, for your Eurostar to St Pancras.
