On the 5th of October, Linda, Alice, Lesley, and Haydn travelled down to Milton Keynes for the Group Leisure & Travel Awards and Show 2022.
A few of our lovely Group Travel Organisers joined us for the evening, and we all had a splendid time! As you know, we sponsored the Best Museum or Gallery and are delighted to announce that King Richard III Visitor Centre won, very well deserved. Katie from the National Gallery joined us at our table, which was very fitting! Kevin Keegan was a fantastic celebrity host and has us all chuckling after we enjoyed a splendid dinner, and then we all danced the night away.
The next morning (with slightly sore heads) we made our way down to the show, luckily we had set up the stand the day before, meaning a little longer to get ready. We met quite a few interesting people at the show, and our new tour 'Historic Houses & Gardens of Yorkshire' was definitely a hit.
