The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is an open-air art gallery, located close to Wakefield in West Yorkshire. Within the Sculpture Park, you can also explore indoor exhibition spaces, which often host interesting artwork from celebrated artists.
The Hepworth Gallery
The Hepworth Gallery is situated on the River Calder, near Wakefield. The name derives from the well-known artist and sculptor Barbara Hepworth, who was born in the city. The building itself has been awarded 'Regional Building of the Year' and the gallery was named the UK's 'Museum of the Year' in 2017.
Treasurer's House
Located in central York, the Treasurer's House is a Grade I listed historic house which is owned by the National Trust. The house was once divided into 3 seperate houses, however a gentleman named Frank Green transformed the house into a beautiful property, to host his remarkable ceramic and art collections.
York Art Gallery
York Art Gallery is situated in central York, steps away from the Treasurer's House and York Minster. Enjoy the vast collection of paintings, which span over the course of 600 years.
Beverley Art Gallery
Beverley Art Gallery first opened in 1910 and currently hosts two exhibition spaces. One of which has a permanent collection, whereas the second hosts temporary exhibitions.
