Itinerary/Excursions
Day 01
Arrive in Florence, with private coach transfers to your hotel.
Day 02 - San Gimignano and Volterra
Visit San Gimignano, the Town of Fine Towers. Here you will indulge in a local gelato tasting, with the backdrop being an unforgettable skyline. Once you are full with delicious gelato, your next excursion will be in Volterra. A traditional alabaster workshop awaits you, where the “alabastrai” were born: characteristic people from Volterra who learned the art of alabaster. They have a unique lifestyle and language and are a symbol of unconventionality, freedom and a close connection to their land.
Day 03
Enjoy a day at leisure. You can spend a day relaxing, or visiting anywhere in Tuscany that takes your fancy!
Day 04 - Siena and Steam Train Excursion
Take a steam train from Siena to a local village. At the village you will attend a local festival celebrating different local nature's produces. The regional folk festival, Sagra del Fungo Porcino, is a fun celebration that will give you a taste of classic Tuscany.
Day 05 - Florence
A guided tour of Florence will show you all the masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture the capital of Tuscany has to offer.
