Organised by GTO, Olivia Goodfellow, Airedale Tours partnered with Enfield Social Events to organise their tour of Belfast, exploring the cities history and also the coastline, travelling through the giants causeway.

In mid-June 2026, I took a mixed-ability group of 28 on the Airedale Belfast and the Giant's Causeway short break. After a short flight, we began our trip by taking a city tour on the coach around the main points of interest and a poignant slow drive around the Falls Road and Shankill Road. Stopping to sign the peace wall was a memorable start to the holiday.
We enjoyed accommodation at the Holiday Inn and were grateful for the comfortable beds at the end of each day. We spent a wonderful morning at Hillsborough Castle, where the Good Friday Agreement was signed. The gardens were delightful, and we wished we had more time there.
The Titanic Exhibition did not disappoint, and as there was so much information to absorb, many of us adjourned to the nearby Titanic Hotel for a cocktail, in a large bar that was once the design room for the Titanic itself.
We ventured out of Belfast for a super day visiting the Bushmills distillery, which was so interesting and followed that with an afternoon at the stunning Giant's Causeway on the coast. The scenery en route to this part of Ireland was stunning, and we were also blessed with great weather.
Our last full day was in Londonderry, where again, we learnt so much about the troubles there centuries ago and in more recent times. One of my group said that for her, Belfast was on a par with our holiday a few years ago to Jordan-that shows how special it was.
The people, the history and the modern-day offerings make this a super break that I would recommend to anyone of any age.
