Olivia, the Group Travel Organiser for Enfield Over 50s Forum, sent us a wonderful recount of her first trip with Airedale last year which you can read below.
"After spotting an appealing Airedale advert last year in Group Leisure magazine, I decided to promote a trip to the Historic Houses of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, as a late summer break for my group, who all live in north London.
From my initial enquiry to the follow-up email, the staff at Airedale made my task so easy and as a result, I’ve already booked a group trip to the Peak District this August and one to Yorkshire in 2024!
25 of us enjoyed a varied programme of National Trust properties, ranging from a workhouse to a stylish country house-two properties each day and never very far to travel. Our hotel in Lincoln was in a perfect location and with so much positive feedback, it made me very happy throughout the tour, as we group organisers are held responsible for so much. We also broke up the journey by stopping off in Melton Mowbray going and Oakham and Stamford on our return, all adding to the fun and making the most of a short break.
Although my group travels all over the world (this year Costa Rica, Namibia, Turkey), we never forget to explore the amazing UK, and Airedale is now my tour operator of choice after such a great initial experience."
