    Arthur's Seat

Arthur's Seat is an ancient volcano that offers one of the best views of the city. A jagged, grassy prominence named after King Arthur, according to legend, is also said to be the site of mythical Camelot. At a hefty height of 822 feet, Arthur's Seat is thought to be around 350 million years old, conceived by an extinct volcano system of the Carboniferous Age.

Edinburgh Old Town & New Town

Visit Edinburgh's Old Town, a bustling area with centuries-old buildings and narrow alleys. Declared an UNESCO heritage site in 1995, with Edinburgh Castle at its heart. Stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the palace, two of the main attractions. The juxtaposition with the New Town brings cultural and historical depth as the New Town brings elegance, with Georgian town houses lining the broad avenues and open squares. Built in the Georgian era, upscale boutiques and shops along with the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh's New Town brings lots to discover.

    Edinburgh Castle

Edinburgh Castle is one of Edinburgh's most famous landmarks, and one of the oldest fortified places in Europe. With a rich history as a royal residence, military garrison, fortress and prison, the castle is filled with exciting tales. When you climb the Castle Hill, you will be walking in the footsteps of kings, queens, prisoners, soldiers and even a pirate or two. Visit King Charles I birth chamber, the last royal to reside in the castle.

    Calton Hill

Calton Hill is a mix of quiet streets, along with bustling commercial areas. The hill itself brings glorious city views and is home to the Collective contemporary art gallery and the unfinished National Monument.
