Discover the Beauty of Istria as you Travel the Heart-Shaped Peninsular

Istria, Croatia's heart-shaped peninsular, is home to medieval towns, glorious vineyards, ancient forests, and the beautiful Adriatic coastline.

  • Itinerary/Excursions

    Day 01 - Arrival

    Transfer from your chosen pick-up point to airport. Once at your destination, transfer to your hotel and enjoy dinner.

    Day 02 - Hum, Motovun & Porec

    Visit, the smallest city in the world, Hum! The town is inhabited by only 28 people and once you have entered through the gate adorned with copper plates, you will be able to try one of the numerous specialities. The famous Biska (brandy made from mistletoe) definitely a must-try! In the northern part of Istria lies the town medieval town of Motovun, where the largest white truffle in the world was found in the surrounding forests. Take a walk up to the fortress and enjoy a truffle or two whilst taking in the spectacular view over the valleys. Next, the town of Porec, which is one of the most beautiful in Istria. During a guided city walk you will see the amazing sights, including the UNESCO world heritage site, the beautiful Euphrasian Basilica.

    Day 03 - Rovinj, Pula & Labin

    Visit Rovinj, another very pretty small town, with a romantic charm and colorful streets, and enjoy a guided city walk. Continue to Pula for another lovely city walk, with countless historical attractions, above all the Roman ampitheatre, which is considered to be one of the symbols of Istria. Enjoy some free time to explore the impressive port at your leisure. Then travel to the hilltop town of Labin, located on the east of Istria. Here you can walk around the town of artists’ quiet streets and squares packed with art galleries and studios; there are more than thirty professional artists in Labin. The medeival old town is particularly beautiful, and has been transformed into a charming artistic and cultural town. Stroll through the charming alleys and enjoy a coffee is one of the cozy coffee houses. 

    Day 04 - The Island of Krk

    The largest island in Croatia, the Island of Krk is unique and picturesque. Get to know the town of Krk on a guided city walk, seeing how it still lives within its Roman walls and hides true historical and cultural jewels. Then head to Vrbnik, which rises above the sea on the rock: every house, alley, and passage has been adapted to the rock. We then drive to Vrh on the island, to taste delicious ham with brandy, proscuitto, olives, bread and white wine! 

    Day 05 - Departure

    Transfer from your hotel to the airport. Once in the UK transfer back to your chosen drop-off point.
