Lipica Stud Farm
Visit the world-famous stud farm Lipica, which is the cradle of the Lipizzaners horses, the gracious ‘four-legged aristocrats’. Lipica is situated in a green oasis in the middle of the Karst region. Founded in 1580 by the Austrian Archduke Charles II, it continues proudly the more than 400 year old tradition of breeding one of the oldest cultural horse beeds. Lunch, a tour of the farm and then have the privilege to enjoy a performance of the classical Spanish riding school providing an unforgettable experience.
