    Inveraray Castle

    On the shore of Loch Fye lies Inverary Castle. With it's stunning Gothic Rival Architecture, the castle was used as the filming location for Downton Abbey's 2012 Christmas Special, and A Very British Scandal.

    Oban

    Known as the 'Gateway to the Isles', Oban is the largest town between Helensburgh and Fort William. A pretty coastal town with many pleasures like fresh seafood, good whiskey and a bustling seafront, it is a lovely place to visit.

    The West Highland Railway

    The West Highland Railway Line will take you through breathtaking scenery to Fort William. The railway line won the Wanderlust Travel Awards 'Best Rail Journey' category a few years ago, and a trip on it will certainly show you why!
