Itinerary/Excursions
Day 01 - Arrival
Transfer from your chosen pick-up spot to airport, then fly to BGY Bergamo. Coach transfer to your hotel once at destination.
Day 02 - Vicenza & Soave
A two hour walking tour of Vicenza will guide you through the elegant buildings the city is known for, thanks to the 16th-century architect Andrea Palladio. These include the Palladian Basilica and the Palazzo Chiericati, now home to an art gallery. Also known as the 'City of Gold', Vicenza is most famous for its trade of precious metals.
Finish your day with wine tasting and local snacks in the Soave area, taking in the beautiful surroundings as you sip on some of Italy's loveliest wines.
Day 03 - Olive oil in Lake Garda
Spend the day taking a tour of Lake Garda, known for its crystal clear water. Italy's largest lake is a truly tranquil area to spend the day, reaching from the Alpine foothills to the northern edge of the Po Valley. After your tour of Lake Garda, taste some local olive oil, wine and an abundance of local snacks.
Day 04 - Leisure
Spend the day at leisure, or let your tour guide know if you would like to discover somewhere new. We are more than happy to help you find another excursion!
Day 05 - Verona and one of Italy's finest reds
Visit the famous setting of Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' for a walking tour, taking you through the medeival city. Verona is an UNESCO site rich with history and culture, such as the Verona Theatre, a huge 1st-century Roman ampitheatre still used to this day. After your walking tour of Verona, visit the Valpolicella area for local wine tasting with an array of local snacks.
Day 06 - Lake Garda by boat: Limone & Malcesine
Take a boat ride from Torbole to Limone, where you will visit the Limonaia and taste some fresh, local limoncello. Take a boat ride across the lake to Malcesine, where you will then catch another boat back to Torbole, taking it the breathtaking scenery as you sail.
Day 07 - Departure
Transfers from your hotel to airport at destination, then transfers from airport in the UK back to your chosen drop-off point.
