Itinerary/Excursions
Day 01 - Arrival
Transfer from your chosen pick-up point to airport. Once at your destination, transfer to your hotel and enjoy dinner.
Day 02 - Schönbrunn & Naschmarkt
Start your city tour at the Schönbrunn Palace, visiting Sisi's former home. Continue to the Weiner Naschmarkt and stroll through the colourful market, maybe picking up some souvenirs as you go. Your tour guide will show you the delights of the city in the afternoon: travel the famous Ringstrasse, home to the Opera House, the Burg Theatre and the Houses of Parliament. You can then enjoy some time to explore the city at your leisure, or visit the vibrant Christmas Markets. As the light fades, experience a true Austrian evening with wine, music and typical Viennese specialities.
Day 03 - Vienna Woods & André Rieu Concert
Visit the Abbey at Heilingkreuz, known for its Gregorian chants, which are sung each midday by the monks. You can then enjoy a cup of Gluhwein at the monastery. Continue to the spa town of Baden in the southern Vienna Woods, famous for its pretty Biedermeier houses.
After spending some time to get ready, the highlight of your tour is about to begin. Be charmed by the sounds of André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra.
André Rieu will give you what you’ve come to expect from his performances: the maestro conducting his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra and playing his world-famous Stradivarius violin to create a colourful concert full of surprises. The repertoire ranges from romantic, emotional ballads to the most gorgeous and celebrated waltzes.
Transfer from your hotel to the airport. Once in the UK transfer back to your chosen drop-off point.
